Dr. Yuki Shiomi (Doctor of Engineering) now is an Assistant Professor of Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University, Japan, and a Project Coordinator and a Group Leader of Spin Quantum Rectification Project, ERATO, Japan Science and Technology Agency, Japan. He got his Doctor's degree at University of Tokyo, Japan. Currently his researches focus on the topological spintronics and also the spintronics application of condensed-matter materials/phenomena. His experimental techniques include material growh of bulk crystals and thin films (oxides, chalcogenides, alloys, etc.), nano-fabrication for spintronics devices, and measurements of various material (chemical and physical) properties and spin current phenomena. He got the Tokin Science and Technology Award in 2016 and the Harada Young Research Award in 2017.
